Death, Renewal, life

Yesterday, as I walked the fields of Thrupp, I was struck by the number of poppies spreading across the view.

An abstract from John McCrae’s In Flanders Fields:

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Hi Bones

I was in the area yesterday so I thought I'd come to Thrupp and look you up.

I couldn't find the boat, so I presume you're still on your travels.

I found Milly M but was disappointed that Maffi wasn't aboard.

I'll be around for a few more days, so I hope to catch up with you if I have the opportunity to drop by again.

Regards

Malcolm

Malcolm,
Try the tea rooms for Maffi! I am away from Thrupp until winter.

I hope you are enjoying yourself in this neck of the woods.
