Day 3

I had a wonderful day yesterday, not least because it involved a delicious cup of coffee with Jenni, the collection of the new gear box AND beer with Pete and Elizabeth as I swanned into Napton.

I rose with the sun and went up a few of the locks at napton and waited for my crew while the mist rose from the water and the sun rose over the fields.

I am now in fenny Compton. I had really been looking forward to seeing and sharing a meal with my cousin this evening but sadly they can't make it.

Shame.
