Goodbye August
August started with the cremation of my motorcycle and ended with the cremation of my neighbour and friend Ian. Our community is a small but close community and they way everyone draws together never ceases to amaze and delight me.
I wonder what it is that makes the boating community so wonderful; perhaps it is the ease with which one meets people.

So sorry to hear you have had such a rotten month, Bones.
Come and see us again next time you are up this way.
Regards,
John and Jackie.

That plus to become a proper boater involves some expense to get started and to keep it up not a little effort. This all serves to help keep out wasters and wannabes like me.
Hi Bones
I've just seen Maffi's post of your meal of prawns and avocado.
Will you marry me?
Regards
Malcolm
