Molly Does Boating
This view loomed into sight a while ago:
Maffi on the front
Molly on the back
The boat going backwards.
Both seem to be whistling as if the boat has nothing to do with them.
Maffi ‘so you think you can boat – go on then gal’
Molly ‘If you are speaking I am not listening’
The awkward moment where it seems to be working nicely.
Who needs a human for boating huh? Whose boat is it now? That should be MY name on there.

Bloody hooligan should know better than to move a boat without someone on the tiller. People like him give boating a bad name.
NOT true. it is common and normal practice to boat backwards very very slowly steering the boat from the bow with a punt pole.

Maffi told us that's how he went backwards (as taught him by a very old boater) but he didn't tell us he cheated by getting Molly to drive!! :-)
