Losing stuff in small spaces.

I am amazed at how easy it is to lose something on a boat. SOMEWHERE I have my passport and birth certificate. Where either of these two documents is, is beyond me, completely and utterly beyond me.

Things are always in the last place you look. Therefore, work out where the last place you'd look is, then look there!

Try your socks drawer, tea caddy, toilet cistern, plastic bag hanging off the stern, the space set aside for Barry, inside your new wellingtons, under your pillow, in the bilges, under the engine sump, under the wonky leg of the coffee table, in the grate, page 78 of Vol 36 of Boater's World, behind the panelling in your bathroom. Ask Miss T if they are in her rather spendid sock array, Oh I don't know I'm only a bloke.

Taking James's advice try the draw of your desk.
