Living on a boat - Romantic?

I was having a lovely afternoon today when someone said living on a boat must be really romantic.

I am struggling to see why anyone could think that living on a boat is romantic. It is about as romantic as a hole in the head.

I bet it is the television that is polluting peoples minds!

Can't see the problem.

Assume "tic" means "like" as in "similar to". (As opposed to nervous reaction)

Romantic must means similar to Roman.

As I recall the Romans could be pretty brutal if upset.

From your blogs over the last year, your canal boat life has been pretty brutal.

QED. No problem !

It is clear you do not overwatch TV. Persons who watch much TV do not have minds to pollute. Inverse relationship.

Living on YOUR boat isn't...:-)

It's like cottages in the country seem romatic, until the cesspit overflows...

Romance is always in the eye of the beholder - me I like clean sheets and heating...
