I think in its new position the skull is comparatively discreet. It might be more so over the stove but that has its own disadvantages as we have discovered!
It isn't the blasted skull that's the problem; rather the eye-piercing antlers that are attached to it.
Did you by any chance damage Maffi's hatch

bones couldn't you pop some ping-pong balls or something on the ends of the antlers? Thus no eye poking incidents and you could keep it!
I still think my idea of a figurehead on the prow of the boat is a good one. Appropriate, too, for nb Bones.
