Warm Gin
The great advantage of solar panels is you don't need to run your engine, and the fridge still works. The great disadvantage of staying under a bridge (to paint) is the lack of sun. I suppose you think I could run my engine... but I can't because I am still waiting for my new injector pipe to arrive.
I don't suppose you think this really matters, but it is a very very serious! There are no ice cubes!

This is a true canal "tragedy" you have my heartfelt sympathy. We had a similar ice shortage last summer and, when I went to buy ice, the shop had sold out. I ended up drinking gin with frozen peas....
The more important question is: do you have lime?
No ice is really serious - anyone would think you were in Weybridge!
Unfair Miss T. Even Fr Weepingcross has come round to the idea that gin needs to be cold.
Curiously I am just having one of those nippy gins now. With cucumber, as Hendrick's advises, and very pleasant it is too, hic pardon.
