Still on about a piano
Having spent a good amount of time playing a piano in Bridgenorth I realise just how much I miss tinkering with the ivories. So, back to thinking about the electrical system on the boat. It seems frightfully extravagant to install electrics just to run an electric piano, but I know it will be a good thing in the long run.
I find piano playing to be a wonderful way of relaxing and switching off, so it will be worth it.

I think you must. ANYTHING to stop you going on about St Helen's Abingdon!
oh, but, I can't help it!
I'm assuming you're after something decent with weighted keys, but even so you may find something with an external power supply and DC in, allowing you to use a simple power supply for your piano. Even if mains, if that's the only mains thing you have, a small inverter would do the business - if say 50w total consumption or less, one of the tiny things maplin & others sell that looks like a mains socket that then plugs into a car cigarette lighter socket would do the trick... shout if I can be of any help, I do run an entire PA system on 12v. ;-)
surely just a good upright would work?! there must be room somewhere in there, your boat's like a tardis!
