Hooray Henry-Etta? me?

There I was minding my own business boating along the lovely stretch from Pigeons Lock to Northbrook when I rounded the corner and suddenly couldn’t see a thing.  The dazzle from the shiniest boat on the cut nearly had us weaving on to dry land.  We grabbed the emergency supply of sunglasses and managed to correct our course just in time to grab the claxon and make lots of noise.  It took quite some time to rouse the crew of NB Yarwood to their front doors but eventually they gave in and left the F1 to itself to wave at us.

The good ship Bones was rather embarrassed with it’s livery as it went skulking past the gleaming Yarwood.  I am starting to paint, again, which involves taking all the badly put on paint off. Again.  I think it will look stacks better this time.

When it comes to poor paint work I find that a distractor draped over it certainly helps.  Here is our new neighbour for a few days.

Judging by the rather critical expression, your neighbour is clearly a skilled boat-painter.......

I think she was a bit more concerned that the big dog next door might eat her!
