Herbie and the brush mate

I often have trouble looking after my paint brushes.  I am so bad at it that it has got to a point where they end up being used and thrown away.  This is not good because I like brushes that aren’t cheap, but more importantly the waste is unjustifiable.  I did try and clean the brushes out in white spirit, but without fail I trip over the container, or forget where I have put it. Besides, I don’t like washing the brushes out into the canal after they have had white spirit on them.
