Electrics
I have finally decided to run some cable down the length of the boat so I can run a radio without having to run my fridge (don't ask! It was an ingeniuous idea of mine that clearly wasn't as ingenious as it seemed). I love the radio and I love music and I have finally decided to re-install them both.

Err . . . . . . . . . . . I'm still watching
have you thought of a battery radio?
maybe simplier
Free2live
now that's something I can definitely help with - shout if you need cable/connectors/advice! What radio are you putting in - a car radio thing? email me!
Or even better a clockwork radio - then you get some exercise too.
Do get a digital radio. I am told that they eat batteries but I love the extra channels.
couldn't possibly get a digital one - it isn't in keeping with my fear of modernisation aboard the great ship!
Miss T - no mention of exercise please, I get quite enough with my favourite sport (drinking tea).
Well, Simon - I like the idea of some help, help is good. It could last a day?
Aaah but listening to a radio and not watching tv all the time is soooo retro!
Retro I dont think the good ship is modern enought to be retro pre-modern would describe it better
