No water, no Electricity
Today I took the water pump off the engine because the shaft seems to be bent. I tried to find a new one, but to no avail so it is being repaired and will take one working week. The engine doesn't charge the batteries, or heat the water without the water pump on it, so I am living rather primitively for a while.
Pah.
Pah.

That's dreadful! Just the right time of year for it. Candles ahoy.
I get the impression that you like to make life hard for yourself?!
Hope fellow boaters allow you on board for a warm and a wash ...

Oh heck Bones, if it is not one thing it is another, poor you. I am sure Maffi will take pity on you and if he does not, tell him I will give him a slap when we see you both after Christmas hahahaha
can't you just nick some power from the boat next door? ;-)
actually, what you need is a pedal generator, innit?
(or a working water pump)
Come over to us for a warm (and a wash)...
But then you relish hardship...
