Ah, what a beautiful town Durham is. The locals are the friendliest people in Britain too, I reckon. And the cathedral is the finest building in the country by a street.
Fab pic - shame you didn't have more time to explore the city. As Adam says, it's an amazingly beautiful place, in a lovely part of the world.
