Hurrah! I have finally booked my hotels for Holland and will be spending 3 days in Amsterdam. I have never been before, and am thoroughly looking forward to seeing it.

Holland booked. Has it been caught speeding then?

If you want to see more of Holland than Amsterdam (althought I'm sure there's enough there for three days, let alone three weeks) you might like to investigate their two-day travel-anywhere-in-the-country-by-train deal (if it's still available). We did that last year and visited Maastricht in the south; Gouda; Amsterdam (well, we didn't start from there); Gronigen (sp?) in the north; and other places too. Yes, a lot of time was spent on the train, but mostly we were upstairs seeing a lot of countryside. Bit like being on a narrowboat, really, but much faster!
Just a thought.

I wont have time to do anything other than Amsterdam. Maybe next time.. if there is a next time!
