Cropredy Folk Festival
I am thinking I might pop along to the Cropredy Folk Festival this year. I keep meaning to go each year, but never quite make it! I always baulk at the price, but considering it is several days of live music, it really is a bargain.
I love live music, but I loathe crowds........

Yes, we're going - our first visit - and then I'll be at the Church on the Sunday morning, by invitation!
I went as a student in 87 & 89, and then again a couple of years ago - the audience seemed to be the same people, just twenty years older and now bringing deck chairs... ;-)
It's a nice festival, but if I'm not out on the boat I'll be the 'earthwise' festival instead (great lineup, better than Supergrass & Midge Ure, anyway) or of course the climate camp demo in Kent...
(get to Cropredy as early as you can if going by boat - it fills up quick!)
I wont be taking the boat I don't think. I will have to get there too early, and have to get home again so I can work! But it isn't too far for day trips.
We're going as part of the 2008 Warrior Grand Tour - very kindly got an offer to tie up to Alnwick when we met them at the Napton banter - so all thanks to you, dear Bones, indirectly...
The hubby will be going this year as he does every year. If you see him tell him the breakfast in a bun at the school has been cancellrd and watch him cry.
