I LOVE a bit of bee bum action 8-)
Are bees incontinent and gaga then?
I think those flowers are "Cosmos" flowers - the same name as my boat! A friend bought me some seeds the spring before last and they looked fantastic (attracting loads of hummingbird hawk moths which for which 2006 was a big year!).
Some have come up again this year too.
All the best.
jaytee - fantastic!!!!!! That sounds great. Did you take any pictures of the wee beasties paying them a visit?
I tried to but they came out all a bit indistinct and blurry (my camera phone not really being up to it). It was always great to see them - and wherever I moored up these flowers seemed to bring them out.
None this year though.
Keep smiling x (unless you really don't want to - & life is just crap sometimes)
