toWhen we were here some time ago (years) I remember all the boats had to move to the other side of the canal because the dredger was coming along the next day doing what dredgers do.
One of the boaters got up the next morning, as one does, and duly stepped off his boat as he had done for many years, but that particular morning stepped straight into the cut!
