Rhubarb

Isn’t Rhubarb a funny word!  Jim on NB BlackPig is moored next to me at the moment, and when he got home today he gave me some Rhubarb. I am very excited and will have it for tea!150620101158

Yummy rhubarb. I took a bowlful to a friend recently, intending that there was enough to make crumble aboard! He laughed hysterically at how little there was - it just disappears in the cooking.
We had to add tinned peaches to make a meal!

Also A murmurous background noise, an indistinct conversation, esp. the repetition of the word ‘rhubarb’ by actors to represent such a conversation or the noise of a crowd. Also To strafe (a target) opportunistically (as a verb).
