About Me
- Name: MortimerBones
- Location: United Kingdom
Standing on the roof, with the wind in my hair, gulls cry I sigh, living it up here. The rain meanders along, soaking me to the bone, and ah, as I stand there... no longer alone.

125-year-old gates, eh? Must be a record! Most wooden lock gates have a lifespan of about 25 years.
The opening sentence is good too. Readers are told that the lock itself was handcrafted and weighs one-and-a-half tons.
Good publicity, though. I shouldn't knock it.
