...or big bolts (M10?) with wide (aka 'penny') washers, clamping down the planks to something that sits under the gunwhale? I guess you'd need two planks underneath lengthways that everything bolted to, then a couple across under those that do the clamping down?

ReplyDeleteWhat about G Clamps that joiners use? you can get metal ones that lock if it needs to be semi permanent.

ReplyDeleteI have decided to use U bolts and saw one side off so it fits under the gunwhale - should do the job!
