Am seriously considering finding a new home back on the canals after this year. After a particularly hairy trip out for water, I'm getting a bit weary of the challenge.
I was glad to see this post and to know that the perils of river life are now behind you. I'd always believed Ratty's words were so right, (nothing, absolutely nothing &etc) but that darn river threw some nasties at you. It was a treat to see the pic Derwent6 put up.

Welcome back. I have been receiving a horrendous number of emails with strong stream warnings. Did you do some white water rafting to get here!
