Mr Paris arrived this morning to rescue the damsel in distress and while I was out purchasing lunch he removed the offending article:
The solenoid looks rather exciting with a bit blown off it!
It has gone down the road to be fixed/replaced and a new one will be in the post. Phew.
How did you get on with that bolt/nut removing tool. Did it do the job or did that nice man down the cut need his grinder etc.?
