Carl is going to post me some galvanised oar crutches. Lock Boy is going to fish out the plans for his oars so I can make my own with some sort of guideline, and then I need to find an outboard engine and I am away!

ReplyDeleteA bit late but have you thought of building a coracle? Very popular in mid/north Wales. Apparently, you can carry them on your back. Then you could negotiate even more remote area of the river/canal system. Just dont lose the paddle whilst up a creek.
