BLAH
Today, in a moment of independence, I am the queen, I can do anything kind of thing, I turned down an invite of dinner - well, one sausage and half of some mash, and decided to embrace my femininity as domestic goddess.
weeping cross has suggested pastry... one table spoon of flower to quarter of lard and quater of butter. No Lard (my neighbour doesn't count) so used all butter. Doubled up the recipe so I had vaste quantities and now have a very small cornish pasty that is bulging with a small proportion of the curry. Pie is the new cake.
The bangers 'n' mash was fab.
ReplyDeleteHey baby - you be independent...get the staff to deliver...

The tablespoons weren supposed to be a guide to proportion, not to quantity. Perhaps use a bit more next time.
