Another spider bites the dust

This morning I had another mouthful of web as I walked from the dining room to the kitchen and as the offending article was waving his feet at me, I decided it was time he went for a stroll.

As much as I like sharing my boat with these hairy fiends there is a limit!

  1. Be very careful - you're going to wake up one morning and find yourself inside a huge web.

    Careful with the gin too:

“Then Witt tried mescaline, strychnine, caffeine, and others. Low-dosed caffeinated spiders produced a smaller but wider web with a normal spiral but radii at oversized angles. At higher doses, like with the other drugs, web regularity got distorted. Only with low doses of the hallucinogen LSD-25 did the spiders spin webs of greater regularity.” (R. Foelix, Biology of Spiders)
